Activities outside the curricula which helps in the physical and emotional development of students
At GIIS, we understand the needs of expatriate parents. That is why we offer flexibility of admission subject to availability of seats.
Admissions are open for new students all year long for academic sessions starting in April each year. The registration process opens from August the previous year, while the application reviewing process by our Admissions Team commences in January each year.
At Global Indian International School, Abu Dhabi, we believe that children benefit academically and personally when they are involved in both extracurricular and co-curricular activities. Not only does this allow them to explore their interests and develop a passion for something outside of academics, but it also teaches them concepts like working as a team and good sportsmanship, etc.
We have a vast range of ECAs and CCAs to appeal to children of all interests and backgrounds. From swimming and taekwondo to clay making and needlework, we have options that interest nearly every student on our campus.
Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs) include honing inherent skills in students like performing arts, leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation. These activities balance the learning environment in GIIS, Abu Dhabi and allow students to be well-rounded individuals who can excel at anything, and be ready to face the world as global citizens. There are also course enrichment activities conducted in class after each concept (like quizzes, group projects or short tests).
Skills-based education is the way to future success, and we at the Global Indian International School understand this. Which is why our entire pedagogy of 9GEMS revolves around making our students complete individuals through a well-rounded education.
For our students, the rigor of academics is well balanced by great exposure to multitude of well-rounded activities.
