How long does it take to receive a decision from GIIS Abu Dhabi?

Our admissions team members begin reviewing your application once we receive your complete application, including supporting documents and paid registration fee. Depending on the volume of application, it may take anywhere up to four weeks or more to hear a decision about your admissions application. Can I change my child’s curricula? If so, how?

You may wish to change your child’s curricula or alternate curricula. However, this could delay your child’s graduation. We advise you to connect with our admissions counsellors to learn more about this process.

What should transfer students submit with the admissions application?

Along with the admissions application, transfer students are required to submit a transfer certificate. The transfer certificate form can be found on our school admissions page.

Tuition and term fees can be paid online through the MYGIIS Parent Portal.

Can international and transfer students receive scholarships?

Yes, both international and transfer students are eligible for scholarships. To see a complete list of scholarships available, please visit the scholarship page on our school website.

By when should I pay the term fees?

Term fees must be paid before the beginning of each term. Specific deadlines for term fees can be found on the top of the invoice. Invoices will be available directly on MYGIIS Parent Portal.

Is there a waiver or reduction for the registration fee?

Registration Fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee. Unfortunately, we do not provide any waiver or reduction for the registration fee at this time.

How do I apply for scholarships?

You can apply for scholarships directly on our website. To apply for scholarships, please visit the scholarship page on our school website.

How do I get my child involved in extracurricular and co curricular activities?

Students can enroll in extracurricular and co curricular activities by directly expressing their interest to our faculty members. Our faculty members will then guide them through the process of enrolling in student activities.

Do visitors need to show a negative Covid-19 test for an in-person campus visit?

We do not require visitors to take a Covid-19 test prior to campus visit. However, if you have already taken the test, you may show the negative test results during registration. Regardless, visitors will be required to submit a health questionnaire and get their temperatures checked at the entrance.

How will a campus tour assist me?

Campus tour is an excellent opportunity to explore school facilities, talk with current students, and learn more about the admissions process from our faculty members. It gives you and your child the opportunity to experience campus first-hand and have any of your questions answered.
